Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how KR Gray Designs LLC ("CompDesk," "we," "us") collects, uses and shares information when you use the CompDesk website and deal-analysis tools (the "Service"). We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
1. Information we collect
Account information. Your email address. If you join a team plan, the name you enter when you accept an invite. We create a sign-in token for your browser so you stay signed in.
Billing information. Payments are handled by Stripe. We receive your name, email, billing address (if provided), plan, subscription status and payment history. We never see or store your full card number.
Deal information you enter or upload. Property addresses and details, comparable sales, notes, repair and construction budgets, photos and plan sheets you upload for AI drafts, and saved deals.
Usage information. How many lookups, AI requests and photos your account uses, so we can apply plan allowances. To limit abuse, we also count requests from each IP address each day, and keep those counts for about two days. Our hosting provider may also keep standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested.
Information stored in your browser. The Service uses your browser's local storage, not advertising cookies, to remember your sign-in, your current deal and your display choices, such as collapsed sections and table views. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Communications. If you email us, we keep the message and your contact details so we can respond.
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- provide the Service: run lookups, show photos, calculate values and budgets, and produce AI drafts and reports
- manage accounts, team seats, subscriptions, allowances and payments
- send service emails, such as sign-in links and receipts
- prevent fraud and abuse, and keep the Service secure
- fix problems and improve the Service
- meet legal obligations
On the website, your saved deals stay in your browser. We do not keep copies of your deals on our servers. Our servers keep only what is needed to run your account: your email, plan and subscription status, usage counts, team member names, and sign-in tokens.
3. Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers that help run the Service, and only what each one needs:

These providers handle data under their own privacy policies and our agreements with them.
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of CompDesk or others, or as part of a merger, sale or reorganization of our business. If that happens, this Policy will continue to apply to your information.
4. How long we keep information
We keep account and billing records while your account is active and for as long as needed afterward for tax, accounting and legal purposes. Daily request counts are kept for about two days, and usage counts for about a year. Sign-in tokens expire after about 90 days. Sign-in links expire after 15 minutes. Information in your browser stays until you clear it. Our service providers keep data according to their own policies.
5. Security
We use HTTPS encryption, keep our service keys on our server rather than in the website's code, and only answer requests from our own website. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your devices and email account secure too.
6. Your choices and rights
- Access, correction or deletion: email us at info@krgraydesigns.com and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity.
- Billing details and cancellation: use "Manage billing" in the Account menu.
- Team access: account owners can remove teammates at any time.
- Your browser: clearing your browser data removes your saved deals and sign-in from that device.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under state law. Contact us to use them.
7. Children
The Service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
8. Changes to this Policy
If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and notify you by email or in the Service before the changes take effect.
